Ken K. Antolik

 

 

Detective Sergeant Ken Antolik leads  the criminal investigations division of the Berwyn Heights Police Department. Detective Antolik has served continuously in Maryland law enforcement since 1985. Detective Antolik attended and graduated from the Prince George's County Police Academy Session 66 in 1987. He was the first Thai-American to serve in law enforcement in Maryland. He served with the Prince George's Community College from 1985 to 1991 working as a patrol officer. Det Antolik was hired by Chief Thomas L Stoner under the authority of Mayor Thomas J. Love in 1991. He was assigned to patrol and worked his way up to the rank of Detective/Sergeant. He was instrumental in establishing the Agency's first NCIC/CJIS computer system. Detective  Antolik was given the name "Pit-Bull" by the late Chief Stoner for taking every case as his own, and refusing to let any perpetrator go.

 

Detective Antolik has attended several technical training schools in the fields of criminal investigations,forensic science,DEA asset forfeiture school,IRS financial investigation school, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation executive development school.

 

Detective Antolik was asked to join the federal task force in 2004 and subsequently sworn in by the Department of Justice as a Deputy US Marshall for the United States Secret Service Metro Area Fraud Task Force.

 

His hobbies include martial arts,skiing, camping and spending quality time with family and friends.

 

Detective Sergeant Antolik strives to instill ethics and integrity within the police department and the community in which he serves.
