The Patrol Division is the backbone of any police department.

The officers assigned to the patrol division are the ones who perform the everyday task of patrolling the streets in an ever-vigilant search for criminal activity, traffic violators,
and the general well-being of the
residents of the town.

Began her career in law enforcement in 1987
Serving the Citizens of Berwyn Heights Since October 2006

Pfc. Dan Unger
Patrol Division

Began his career in law enforcement in 2005
Serving the Citizens of Berwyn Heights Since January 2007

XThe Patrol Division is made up of a Supervisor -
Sgt. T.C. Moroney,
and Six (6) Patrol Officers.

Currently the patrol officers

The Patrol Division is responsible for handling routine calls
such as Disorderly Persons, Burglar Alarms, Shoplifters,
Auto Thefts, Vandalism, Loud Music, Suspicious Subjects,
Traffic Accidents, Natural Deaths, etc.   The Patrol Division also handles the following more serious
crimes, with the assistance of the
BHPD Criminal Investigations Divison:
Burglaries, Rapes, Robberies, Hold-Ups, Carjacking,
Abductions, Homicides, Kidnapping, etc.

Police Clerk II

Began her career in law enforcement in 2003
Serving the Citizens of Berwyn Heights Since 2003

Police Clerk Camille Carter heads up the
Berwyn Heights Police Department's Administrative Section.

The Administrative Section handles the monthly
UCR (Uniform Crime Reports),
Parking Citation Accounting & Collection
Motor Vehicle Flagging Program,
Traffic Citation - Court Liason,
and a host of other everyday tasks.
